Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is a platform game, under development by Toys for Bob, and to be published by Activision. The game will be the eighth main installment in the Crash Bandicoot series and a sequel to the trilogy remake Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and will take place after the events of Crash Bandicoot: Warped within an alternate continuity. The game’s story sees both Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco facing against their old nemesis Doctor Neo Cortex as he sets forth on a new scheme to conquer a multiverse of dimensions scattered across time and space.
Taking place directly after the events of Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Doctor Neo Cortex, Doctor Nefarious Tropy and Uka Uka escape from their space-time prison, creating a rip of the fabric of time and exposing a multiverse in the process. In order to restore order to the multiverse, Crash and Coco must find the four Quantum Masks scattered across space and time and stop Cortex. Also caught up in the chaos is Dingodile, whose retirement from villainy is interrupted by the spacial disruptions, and a version of Crash’s old girlfriend Tawna from an alternate dimension.
